Ahmedabad :- Ahmedabad is a great tourist attraction destination, as there are number of interesting places to see in and around the city. Gujarat is one of the most rewarding states for tourists. Bhavnagar :- Bhavnagar was founded in 1724 by Bhavsinhji Gohil. It was the capital of Bhavnagar State, which was a princely state before it was merged into the Indian Union in 1948. It is now the administrative headquarter of the Bhavnagar district. Bhavnagar is situated 198 km from the state capital Gandhinagar. It has always been an important city for trade with many large and small scale industries along with the world's largest ship breaking yard located 50 km away. Palitana Jain temples, which are important holy places for Jains, are situated 56 km away, and Velavadar national park, home to endangered species of wolves, antelopes and blackbucks, is situated 42 km away. The old town of Bhavnagar was a fortified town with gates leading to other important regional towns. It remained a major port for almost two centuries, trading commodities with Mozambique, Zanzibar, Singapore, and the Persian Gulf. The current Royal Family of Bhavnagar comprises Maharaja Vijayraj Singh Gohil and Maharani Samyukta Kumari, Prince Yuvraj Jaiveerraj Singh Gohil and Princess Brijeshwari Kumari Gohil.  Modern Bhavnagar comprises Takhteshvar Plots, Krishnanagar, Sardarnagar and surrounding area. During 1935–1937, Krishnanagar area was planned and developed by late Shri Virendrabhai C. Mehta, the official town planner for the State of Bhavnagar. In 1961, he extended his Krishanagar plan towards Sardarnagar. In 1975, he created a master plan for Bhavnagar.

Sasangir :- Sasan-Gir or the Gir Forest National Park is located in the Indian state of Gujarat. Spread across an area of 1412 square km, this sanctuary was established in 1965 to protect the dwindling population of lions. Sasan Gir Forest is today the only place in the world outside Africa, where the lion can be seen in his natural habitat.  It is most popularly known for its population of Asiatic lions and considered as the safest protection areas for these Lions. Popular carnivores found in the place are Asiatic lions, Indian leopards, jungle cats, striped hyenas, golden jackals and many more. The park’s popular birds include vultures, crested serpent eagle, great horned owl and others. The forest also harbours a variety of smaller animals and birds. Other predators are the Panther and the Hyena. The Indian Deer, Sambar, Chital (spotted deer), Nilgai (blue bull), Chinkara and the Chowsingha (four horned antelope) are found here, along with the bear and the long tailed langur. Another important attraction in the place is Kamleshwar Dam, which is situated in the centre of Sasan-Gir National Park. The Sasanagir national park commonly known as the Gir national park is the only abode left for the Asiatic lions and that’s what makes it a popular tourist spot.

This forest region of Gir was declared a ‘conservation area’ by the then Nawab of the ‘Princely State of Junagadh’ in early 1900 s itself. Gir. Diu is more popular as a tourist place because of the natural beaches available very near to Diu like nagoa beach, Jalandhar beach, ghoghla beach and Diu city area itself located on beach. As Diu is a famous tourist place approximately 5000 tourist visitors visit Diu per month. Tourist and people of Diu celebrating all the festivals with colors and joy. Diu Tourism department arranging Diu Festival every year in December to encourage tourism. Diu city is best known as a place that mixes tradition with modernity. This perfect blend is evident in its architecture, with number of historical monuments and structures. Night life in Diu is quite enjoyable and safe.

Somnath :- Somnath temple stands at the shore of the Arabian ocean on the western corner of Indian subcontinent in Gujarat State. This pilgrimage is one of the oldest and finds its reference in the ancient texts like Skandpuran, Shreemad Bhagavat, Shivpuran etc. The chant from Rig-Veda quoted below mention the Bhagvan Someshwar along with the great pilgrimage like Gangaji, Yamunaji and Eastward Saraswati. This signifies the ancient value of this Tirthdham. Somnath is in Prabhas Patan very near to Veraval. The Moon God is said to have been relieved from the curse of his father-in-law Daksha Prajapati by the blessings of Bhagvan Somnath.  In  the Shiva  Purana  and Nandi Upapurana, Shiva  said, `I  am  always present everywhere  but  specially  in  12  forms  and places as  the Jyotirlingas`. Somnath is one of  these 12 holy places. This is the first among the twelve holy Shiva Jyotirlings.

Dwarka :- Dwarka, a city that was known as Dwarawati in Sanskrit literature is one of the seven most ancient cities of India. This city was the abode of Lord Sri Krishna. It is the only place considered both as one of the “char dham” (four principal holy places), as well as one of the “sapta puris” (seven holy cities) in our religious texts. The name Dwarka is derived from the word 'Dvar' that means Door in Sanskrit and the significance of this word is the door to Brahma. The city has special significance to the Vaishnavas. The Jagatmandir temple here has the idol of Dwarkadhish, a form of Lord Krishna. Nageshvara Jyotirlinga, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Shiva, is also located near Dwaraka. There are numerous holy shrines in and around Dwarka and Beyt Dwarka attracts tourists every year.

Rajkot :- Rajkot is the 4th largest city in the state of Gujarat, India. It is located on the banks of the Aji River and Niari River. The tourism in the city is picking up owing to the fact that there are a number of places here that are worth visiting.It was founded by Thakur Saheb Vibhaji Ajoji Jadeja of Jadeja clan in 1612 AD. Since then, it has been the seat of Jadeja rulers of India. Rajkot is also known for the reason that Mahatma Gandhi spent the early days of his life here only. He completed his education in one of the schools here. Apart from this, the city is famous for jewellery, silk embroidery and watch parts. It is also famous for its gold purity. Rajkot has one of the biggest gold markets of Gujarat, called Soni Bazaar. Places to visit are Hingolgadh Nature Education Sanctuary.

Day Wise Itinerary

Day 1: Pick Up From Ahmedabad Airport/Railway Station And Local Sightseeing

Today arrive at Ahmedabad. On arrival check in at the hotel. Proceed to visit Gandhi Ashram, City museum and Hathising Jain Temple. Later in the evening proceed to visit Adalaj Step well and Akshardham Temple. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Check-out From Ahmedabad Drive To Bhavnagar And Local Sightseeing

After breakfast start for Bhavnagar. En-route visit Lothal. Lothal is one of the most prominent cities of the ancient Indus valley civilisation. Also visit Velavadar The Velavadar National park is known for the successful conservation of the blackbuck, wolf and the lesser Florican. Arrive at Bhavnagar. Later proceed to visit Nishkalank Mahadev Temple in Koliyak, Bhavnagar. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Check-out From Bhavnagar Drive To Sasangir And Local Sightseeing

After breakfast proceed to Sasanigir. Enroute visit Palitana. Palitana is the world’s only mountain that has more than 900 temples.Palitana temples and whole mountain are considered the most sacred pilgrimage place by the Jain community, and is the world's largest Temple Complex with 3000 temples. Later arrive at Sasangir. Visit Gir Interpretation Zone. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4: Check-out From Sasangir Drive To Diu And Local Sightseeing

In the morning take jeep safari in Gir national park. Later, proceed to beach town Diu. Later, visit St. Paul's Church, Diu Museum and Diu Fort. Evening is at leisure to laze and relax on the beach. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5: Check-out From Diu Drive To Somnath And Local Sightseeing

After breakfast proceed to Somnath. On arrival visit Bhalka Tirth, Triveni Sagam, Geeta Mandir Chopati & Somnath Temple. In the evening attend Aarti and later watch light and Sound show. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6: Check-out From Somnath Drive To Dwarka And Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed to the sacred town of Dwarka. Enroute visit Porbandar. At Porbandar visit Kirti Mandir – the place where Gandhiji was born and Sudama Temple – The only Sudama Temple in the world. Later arrive at Dwarka. Visit Dwarkadeesh Temple. Overnight at hotel.

Day 7: Check-out From Dwarka Drive To Rajkot And Local Sightseeing

After breakfast take a trip to Bet Dwarka, visit Old Temple of Krishna. On the way to Bet Dwarka, visit Nageshwar Temple – One of the 12th Jyotilingam of Shiva, Rukmini Temple and Gopi Talav. Enroute visit In the evening, visit Bala Hanuman Temple at Jamnagar known for its nonstop Ramdhun since 1956 and it mentioned in Guinness Book of World Records. Later arrive at Rajkot. Overnight at hotel.

Day 8: Check-out From Rajkot Drop At Ahmedabad Airport/Railway Station

After breakfast, proceed to Ahmedabad. Drop at airport/railway station.
