Ropar :- The district of Rupnagar is named after its district headquarters, the town of Rupnagar. Formerly known as Ropar, the town of Rupnagar is said to have been founded by a Raja called Rokeshar, who ruled during the 11th century and named it after his son Rup Sen. The town is of considerable antiquity.

Recent excavations and explorations conducted at Rupnagar indicate that the first civilized folk to settle here were the Harappans, who apparently reached the upper Satluj towards the close of third millennium B.C. District was carved out on Ist November , 1966 at the of re-organization of the State. The District has rich historical and religious significance behind it.

Dharamshala :- Dharamshala stands at the foot of Dhauladhar and has a magnificent view of snowy peaks, deodar and pine forests, tea gardens and beautiful hills. The snow line is perhaps more easily accessible at Dharamshala than any other hill station in India. Dharamshala now really has become international, with a number of Tibetan settlements. It is full of life and yet peaceful. The headquarters of His Holiness the Dalai Lama are at upper Dharamshala.

Dharamshala is divided into two distinct parts: lower Dharamshala the civil and business area with Courts and Kotwali bazaar and upper Dharamshala composed of places like Mcleod Ganj and Forsyth Ganj. Dharamshala has everything for a perfect holiday such as numerous streams, cool healthy air, attractive surroundings and the nearby snowline. Covering a wide area in the form of twin settlement, lower Dharamshala (1380m) is a busy commercial centre.

While upper Dharamshala (1830m) with the suburbs of Mcleodganj and Forsy the ganj, retains a British flavour and colonial lifestyle. The charming church of St. John in the wilderness is situated here and this is the final resting place of Lord Elgin, a British Viceroy of India during the 19th century. There is also a large Tibetan community who have made this place their home. Numerous ancient temples like Jwalamukhi, Brijeshwari and Chamunda lie on the plains below Dharamshala.

Day 1: Pick Up From Delhi Airport/Railway Station Drive To Ropar Farm House Check-in And Adventure Activities

Pick up from Delhi Airport/Railway Station drive to Ropar(Punjab) Check-in the farm house around 1200 hrs, Fresh up at the farm house have your lunch here and in the afternoon gear up yourself for some adventure activities available in the farm house. After enjoying the activities have your dinner at the farm house and spend a comfortable night at the farm.

Day 2: Check-out From Farm House Drive To Dharamshala Hotel Check-in And Local Sightseeing

Early morning get up have your breakfast check-out the farm and drive to Dharamshala, Post lunch check-in the Hotel at Dharamshala have your lunch take a short rest here, in evening go for some local sightseeing and return back to the hotel for comfortable night stay and have your dinner in the hotel.

Day 3: Local Sightseeing And Excurison Nearby Areas

Get up early morning have your breakfast, after breakfast further proceed to some local sightseeing at Dharamshala. In the afternoon come to the hotel have your lunch and take a short rest here. In the evening go for some more sightseeing, return back to the hotel in the evening have your dinner at the hotel and spend a comfortable night.

Day 4: Check-out From Hotel Drive To Delhi Airport/Railway Station

Get up early in the morning pack up your bags, have your breakfast at the hotel and after breakfast further proceed to Delhi Airport/Railway Station with lots of sweet memories.

• Refund on cancellation depends upon the concerned hotel’s cancellation policies.
• Guests are not allowed to drive the cab, provided for the above mentioned itinerary
• The above package is not valid during the festival season, national holidays, long weekends, and New Year.
• Per person rates (in Rs.), and applicable on 2 persons, sharing the same room (maximum 2 adults are allowed).
• All transfers, excursions, sightseeing and travel as per itinerary in an air conditioned vehicle (The air conditions will work in plain areas only and not on hills)
• Air condition is allowed in the moving position of the cab provided and not in the standing position if it is more than 10 minutes for the above mentioned itinerary.
• Guests are not allowed to drink (alcohol)/smoke / do any other illegal activities as per the Indian laws inside the cab, provided for the above mentioned itinerary.

• One Child between 0 to 4 years is complimentary (without bed) after that each child between 0 to 4 years 50% of per person package cost without extra bed, child between 4 To 12 years will be charged 70% of the per person package cost with extra bed ( mattress ) sharing the same room with parents, beyond 12 years 100% per person package cost will be charged with extra bed (mattress) sharing the same room with parents and we request our guest to declare the actual age of the child at the time booking.
