Bandhavgarh National Park:- Bandhavgarh National Park is one of the most popular national parks in India. This is located in the Vindhya Hills of the Umaria district in Madhya Pradesh. The park holds the largest breeding population of leopards and various species of deer. The national park is also being famed to grip highest density of tiger population in India. The Bandhavgarh National Park is spread across the area of 105 km and confirmed as a national park in 1968. Bandhavgarh national park provides abundant opportunities to spot the majestic Indian tiger and some hardly ever seen animals like leopard and sloth bear. Khajuraho:- Khajuraho is a small town in the state of Madhya Pradesh located in Chhatarpur district. Khajuraho is worldwide famous for largest group of medieval Hindu and Jain temples, which describe the finest art in the world. The Khajuraho monuments has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and believed to be one of the “seven wonders” of India.
There were initially over 80 Hindu temples, of which only 25 now stand in a sensible state of conservation. The whole area was covered by a wall with eight gates, each lined by two golden palm trees. Spread over an area of about 8 square miles. Khajuraho is a main tourist and archaeological tourist spot in Madhya Pradesh. Khajuraho temples are distributed into three sections that is western, eastern and southern, according to their location. The largest complex is western compound of all three, which include some of the most popular temples at Khajuraho.
Orchha:- Orchha is a small city in Madhya Pradesh close to the banks of Betwa River. The medieval city is popular for its palaces and temples which are still maintaining their original splendour. Orchha undoubtedly lives up to its name, Orchha means “hidden place”. History of Orchha revolves around Bundela Empire that ruled over this region of Bundelkhand. Rudra Pratap, founded the Orchha city. Orchha is also popular for architecture which can’t find anywhere else. The most attractive place in the Orchha complex is the two-storeyd brick construction and Rai Praveen Mahal built by Raja Indramani, in the garden of Anand Mahal. The place has the other monuments of interest with charming beauty fine carving on the niches are Laxmi Narayan temple, Chaturbhuj temple, Phool Bagh & the well-known Dinman Hardaul temple.
Gwalior:- Gwalior has a traditionally rich past and it is one of the most popular cities of Madhya Pradesh. Gwalior’s stunning forts and palaces attract many tourists from all over the world. Gwalior was ruled by many rulers of different era like the Mughals and in fact even the Tomars. Gwalior usually called as the Fort City. Gwalior is best known for its magnificent hilltop fort, which is famously illustrated as ‘The pearl amongst fortresses in India’. Nowadays Gwalior is one of the biggest tourist attractions of Madhya Pradesh because of its easy connectivity with other cities. It is also one of the largest cities of Central India. Gwalior continues to preserve a medieval splendour. Gwalior has rich history of Indian traditions and the wealth of music intact over the years. The Gwalior Gharana is one of the oldest Khayal Gharanas. Famous musicians like Tansen and Baiju Bawara belonged to Gwalior.
