Shimla :- Shimla is the former summer capital of the British in India, and the present capital of Himachal Pradesh. Today, it has well developed facilities, easy accessibility and many beautiful attractions making it one of India's most popular hill station. Situated in the lower ranges of the Himalayan mountains, it is surrounded by pine deodar, oak and rhododendron forests. Towards the north lie the snow-covered high-ranges, while the valleys breathe whispering streams and swaying fields. Within the town are host of splendid colonial edifices, quaint cottages and charming walks. Shimla offers a variety of shopping, sport and entertainment activities.Shimla has many temples and is often visited by devotees from nearby towns and cities.
The Kali Bari temple, dedicated to the Hindu goddess Kali is near the mall. Jakhoo Temple, for the Hindu god Hanuman is located at the highest point in Shimla.Sankat Mochan, another Hanuman temple, is famous for the numerous monkeys that are always found in its vicinity. It is located on Shimla-Kalka Highway about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) from the city. The nearby temple of Tara Devi is a place for performing rituals and festivals.Other prominent places of worship include a Gurudwara near the bus terminus and a Church on The Ridge.
The Shimla arts and crafts are highly in demand by the tourists. Lakkar Bazaar, a market extending off The Ridge, is famous for souvenirs and crafts made of wood.The Shimla Ice Skating Club, which manages the rink, hosts a carnival every year in January, which includes a fancy dress competition and figure skating events.

Tatta Pani :- Tattapani a popular sightseeing option near Shimla about 60 kms away. Tattapani is also the site for white water river rafting near Shimla. Tattapani is very popular for the hot springs which are located besides the icy cold water of Sutlaj. These hot water springs are supposed to have medicinal value and healing properties.Tatta-Pani meaning hot water, has various hot sulphur springs located along the banks of the Sutlej River.These sulphur springs are believed to have medicinal value.
The sulphurous spring water is said to have curative powers that provide relief from ailments like joint pain, fatigue and skin diseases. People from all over the country visit Tattapani to take a dip into the sulphur water of the spring. This natural spring is pure and the temperature of the waters keeps varying depending on the water level of the river.
Tattapani is also dotted with several temples, thereby holding religious significance for the Hindus. People can also enjoy rafting and trout fishing at Tattapani, along the Sutlej River. Interestingly, the sulphur springs disappear when the level of the Sutlej rises in June-July and reappear in November-December.The Shiv Gufa (Shiva Caves) located at Saraur four kilometers from Tattapani.

Best Time To Visit :- Though Shimla has pleasant climate throughout the year, it experiences cold winters. The best time to visit Shimla would be October to November and from March to May.You can also visit Shimla during winter months. The hill station witnesses heavy snowfall and tourists throng Shimla in December during Christmas and New Year. Winters are also an ideal time to visit Shimla if you love adventure sports like skiing and ice-skating.Tattapani can be visited all the year round, especially in winters when the sulphur springs make the place a little warm.

Pick up from Delhi Airport/Railway station and proceed to Shimla. Check in hotel post lunch. Fresh up and in the evening go for some local sightseeing. Early morning get up and have your breakfast, now go to Kufri for sightseeing and adventures activities cab is available till Kufri parking, guest need to go ahead by their own arrangements (on pony/horses), and enjoy some adventure sports there on their own costs. Post lunch come back to the Shimla and have some local shopping. Return back to the hotel in the evening have your dinner at hotel.
Get up early morning have your breakfast at the hotel and check out, after breakfast further proceed to your next honeymoon destination Tattapani. Post lunch check in the hotel at Tattapani.
