Jamnagar :- Jamnagar the Jewel of Kathiawar, is on the coast of Gulf of Kutch in the state of Gujarat, India. Jamnagar is a city located on the western coast of India in the state of Gujarat in theGulf of Kutch.It is the administrative headquarters of the Jamnagar District. It is the fifth largest city in the state of Gujarat, India, behind Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara and Rajkot.

The various tourist attractions in Jamnagar are the Lakhota Palace, Kotha Bastion, Bala Hanuman Temple, Jain Temples, Marine National Park, Khijadiya Bird Sanctuary and Ayurvedic University. Dwarka :- Dwarka, a city that was known as Dwarawati in Sanskrit literature is one of the seven most ancient cities of India. This city was the abode of Lord Sri Krishna. It is the only place considered both as one of the “char dham” (four principal holy places), as well as one of the “sapta puris” (seven holy cities) in our religious texts. The name Dwarka is derived from the word 'Dvar' that means Door in Sanskrit and the significance of this word is the door to Brahma. The city has special significance to the Vaishnavas.

The Jagatmandir temple here has the idol of Dwarkadhish, a form of Lord Krishna. Nageshvara Jyotirlinga, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Shiva, is also located near Dwaraka. There are numerous holy shrines in and around Dwarka and Beyt Dwarka attracts tourists every year.

Porbandar :- Porbandar, the coastal heritage town of Gujarat is located on the Saurashtra peninsula, on the Arabian Sea. This city is described in Skanda Purana as Sudamapuri and Ashmavati and had a flourishing trade with Africa and Arabia. According to the legends, this city was the main link of the great friendship between Lord Krishna and Sudama. Porbandar was established as a capital by Rana Sartanji in 1785 AD.

Porbandar was the former Porbandar Gujarat capital of the Jethwa Rajput petty princely state. Porbandar, originally a fortified town, with high rampart walls, bastions and five gates, lost its fortification by the order of Colonel Lally in 1888 AD. Even today, a ritual to circumambulate the fortification is performed by Hindus. The most impressive feature of Porbandar is the city planning and the stone buildings with ashlar masonry and rich carving, the facades of the houses on either side of the streets, with windows and carved gateways. Porbandar is also associated with Mahatma Gandhi, the father of nation as he was born here. Today, fine quality silk and cotton are manufactured here. There are also chemical factories and cement works.

Somnath :- Somnath temple stands at the shore of the Arabian ocean on the western corner of Indian subcontinent in Gujarat State. This pilgrimage is one of the oldest and finds its reference in the ancient texts like Skandpuran, Shreemad Bhagavat, Shivpuran etc. The chant from Rig-Veda quoted below mention the Bhagvan Someshwar along with the great pilgrimage like Gangaji, Yamunaji and Eastward Saraswati.

This signifies the ancient value of this Tirthdham. Somnath is in Prabhas Patan very near to Veraval. The Moon God is said to have been relieved from the curse of his father-in-law Daksha Prajapati by the blessings of Bhagvan Somnath.  In  the Shiva  Purana  and Nandi Upapurana, Shiva  said, `I  am  always present everywhere  but  specially  in  12  forms  and places as  the Jyotirlingas`. Somnath is one of  these 12 holy places. This is the first among the twelve holy Shiva Jyotirlings.

Diu :- Diu is a vibrant city where you find people from different castes and religions. Diu is a major tourist center has many attractions and sightseeing like Bunder Chowk, Fort, Panikota, St. Paul’s Church, INS Kukri. Diu is more popular as a tourist place because of the natural beaches available very near to Diu like nagoa beach, Jalandhar beach, ghoghla beach and Diu city area itself located on beach. As Diu is a famous tourist place approximately 5000 tourist visitors visit Diu per month.

SasanGir :- Sasan-Gir or the Gir Forest National Park is located in the Indian state of Gujarat. Spread across an area of 1412 square km, this sanctuary was established in 1965 to protect the dwindling population of lions. Sasan Gir Forest is today the only place in the world outside Africa, where the lion can be seen in his natural habitat.  It is most popularly known for its population of Asiatic lions and considered as the safest protection areas for these Lions.Popular carnivores found in the place are Asiatic lions, Indian leopards, jungle cats, striped hyenas, golden jackals and many more.

The park’s popular birds include vultures, crested serpent eagle, great horned owl and others. The forest also harbours a variety of smaller animals and birds. Other predators are the Panther and the Hyena. The Indian Deer, Sambar, Chital (spotted deer), Nilgai (blue bull), Chinkara and the Chowsingha (four horned antelope) are found here, along with the bear and the long tailed langur. Another important attraction in the place is Kamleshwar Dam, which is situated in the centre of Sasan-Gir National Park.

The Sasanagir national park commonly known as the Gir national park is the only abode left for the Asiatic lions and that’s what makes it a popular tourist spot.There are many hotel options in Sasan-Gir for tourists. This forest region of Gir was declared a ‘conservation area’ by the then Nawab of the ‘Princely State of Junagadh’ in early 1900 s itself. Gir. Day Wise Itinerary

Day 1: Pick Up From Ahmedabad Airport/Railway Station Drive To Jamnager Visit Bala Hanuman Mandir

Today arrive at Ahmedabad & later proceed to Jamnagar, historically known as Nawanagar. On arrival check in to the hotel. Later proceed to visit Lakhota Lake & Lakhota Museum. In the evening, visit Bala Hanuman Temple known for its nonstop Ramdhun since 1956 and it mentioned in Guinness Book Of Worlds records. Evening is free for shopping. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Hotel Check-out Drive To Dwarka Visit Dwarkadheesh Temple

Today morning after breakfast check-out from the hotel & transfer to Dwarka. Dwarka is one of the foremost Chardham four sacred Hindu pilgrimage sites, and in one of the Sapta Puri seven most ancient religious cities in the country. On arrival check-in to the hotel. Later proceed to visit Dwarkadheesh Temple. Take a holy dip in Gomti river, later leave to visit Nageshwar Jyotirling, one of the 12 Jyotirlingam of Shiva, Gopi Talav, Bet Dwarka, and on way back do visit Rukmani Temple, evening visit other temples on coastal area, attend evening aarti at Dwarkadhish temple. Day 3: Hotel Check-out Drive To Porbandar Visit Kirti Mandir And Sudama Mandir

Today morning after breakfast check-out from the hotel & depart to Porbandar. Perhaps best known for being the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi and Sudama ( frined of Lord Krishna). Its also know as Sudamapuri. At Porbandar visit Kirti Mandir- the place where Gandhi ji was born and Sudama Temple- The only Sudama Temple in the world. Also visit Gita mandir, Gayatri Mandir etc..Balance day is at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4: Hotel Check-out Drive To Somnath And Visit Somnath Temple Bhalka Tirth

Today morning after breakfast check-out from the hotel transfer to Somnath. Somnath temple is the first among the twelve Jyotirlinga shrines of the god Shiva. On arrival check in to the hotel. Later proceed to visit Bhalka Tirth, Triveni Sagam, Geeta mandir, Chopti & Somnath Temple. In the evening attend Aarti and later watch light and sound show run by Gujarat tourism. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: Hotel Check-out Drive To Diu Enjoy Beautiful Beaches Of Diu

Today morning take a breakfast & later check-out from the hotel & transfer to beach town Diu. Diu island, and is known for its fortress and old Portuguese Cathedral. On arrival check-in to the hotel. Balance day at leisure to laze and relax on the beach. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6: Hotel Check-out Drive To Sasangir Visit Gir Interpretation Zone

Today morning after breakfast check-out from the hotel & depart to Sasan Gir. Sasan Gir, is the sole home of the Asiatic lions and is considered to be one of the most important protected area in Asia due to its supported species. On arrival check-in to the hotel. Visit Gir interpretation Zone at Devaliya(enclosed are for Lions). Overnight stay at the Hotel/Resort.

Day 7: Enjoy Morning Jeep Safari Hotel Check-out And Drop At Ahmedabad Airport/Railway Station

Enjoy morning jeep safari-at own cost ( Total 3 shifts per day morning 6 am, 9 am & afternoon 3 pm) in the Gir forests. Look for the two big cats and also get the pleasure of watching other wildlife.
