Rann of Kutch :- The Rann of Kutch, also known as the Great Rann of Kutch (there's a Little Rann of Kutchas well), is a remarkable place to visit in Gujarat. Much of it consists of the world's largest salt desert, measuring around 10,000 square kilometers. What makes it even more amazing is that the salt desert is underwater during the main monsoon season in India.

For the remaining eight months of the year, it's an enormous stretch of packed white salt. Each community has its own oral traditions, dance, craft and dress. Stretching along the Tropic of Cancer, from Rajasthan to the edge of Pakistan and the Arabian Sea, Kutch covers a little over 45000 sq km and is geographically one of India's largest and most distinctive districts.

Jamnagar :- Jamnagar the Jewel of Kathiawar, is on the coast of Gulf of Kutch in the state of Gujarat, India. Jamnagar is a city located on the western coast of India in the state of Gujarat in theGulf of Kutch.It is the administrative headquarters of the Jamnagar District. It is the fifth largest city in the state of Gujarat, India, behind Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara and Rajkot.

The various tourist attractions in Jamnagar are the Lakhota Palace, Kotha Bastion, Bala Hanuman Temple, Jain Temples, Marine National Park, Khijadiya Bird Sanctuary and Ayurvedic University. Dwarka :- Dwarka, a city that was known as Dwarawati in Sanskrit literature is one of the seven most ancient cities of India. This city was the abode of Lord Sri Krishna. It is the only place considered both as one of the “char dham” (four principal holy places), as well as one of the “sapta puris” (seven holy cities) in our religious texts. The name Dwarka is derived from the word 'Dvar' that means Door in Sanskrit and the significance of this word is the door to Brahma. The city has special significance to the Vaishnavas. The Jagatmandir temple here has the idol of Dwarkadhish, a form of Lord Krishna.

Nageshvara Jyotirlinga, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Shiva, is also located near Dwaraka. There are numerous holy shrines in and around Dwarka and Beyt Dwarka attracts tourists every year. The Dwarakadhish Temple, Nageshvara Jyotirlinga Temple, Shrine of Meerabai, Shri Krishna Temple, the Hanuman Temple and Kachoriyu in Beyt Dwarka are some of the important religious places of Dwarka. With all the religious backgrounds, Dwarka has always remained and continues to remain one of the most visited places of Gujarat.

Somnath :- Somnath temple stands at the shore of the Arabian ocean on the western corner of Indian subcontinent in Gujarat State. This pilgrimage is one of the oldest and finds its reference in the ancient texts like Skandpuran, Shreemad Bhagavat, Shivpuran etc. The chant from Rig-Veda quoted below mention the Bhagvan Someshwar along with the great pilgrimage like Gangaji, Yamunaji and Eastward Saraswati.

This signifies the ancient value of this Tirthdham. Somnath is in Prabhas Patan very near to Veraval. The Moon God is said to have been relieved from the curse of his father-in-law Daksha Prajapati by the blessings of Bhagvan Somnath. In the Shiva urana nd Nandi Upapurana, Shiva said, I am always resent verywhere but specially in 12  forms and places as the Jyotirlingas. Somnath is one of these 12 holy places. This is the first among the twelve holy Shiva Jyotirlings.

The shore temple of Somnath is believed to have been built in 4 phases-in gold by Lord Soma, in silver by Ravi, in wood by lord Krishna and in stone by King Bhimadeva. The temple is consisting of Garbhgruh, Sabhamandap and Nrityamandap with a 150 feet high Shikhar. The Kalash at the top of the Shikhar weighs 10 tons and the Dhwajdand is 27 feet tall and 1 foot in circumference.

Diu is more popular as a tourist place because of the natural beaches available very near to Diu like nagoa beach, Jalandhar beach, ghoghla beach and Diu city area itself located on beach.

As Diu is a famous tourist place approximately 5000 tourist visitors visit Diu per month. Tourist and people of Diu celebrating all the festivals with colors and joy.Diu Tourism department arranging Diu Festival every year in December to encourage tourism. Diu city is best known as a place that mixes tradition with modernity. This perfect blend is evident in its architecture, with number of historical monuments and structures.

Night life in Diu is quite enjoyable and safe. Various tourist attractions in Diu are the Diu Fort, Fortress of Panikota, Nagoa Beach, St. Paul's Church, Jallandhar Shrine, Gangeshwar Temple, Diu Museum, Ghoghla Beach and Gomtimata Beach.

Sasan :- Sasan-Gir or the Gir Forest National Park is located in the Indian state of Gujarat. Spread across an area of 1412 square km, this sanctuary was established in 1965 to protect the dwindling population of lions. Sasan Gir Forest is today the only place in the world outside Africa, where the lion can be seen in his natural habitat.  It is most popularly known for its population of Asiatic lions and considered as the safest protection areas for these Lions. Popular carnivores found in the place are Asiatic lions, Indian leopards, jungle cats, striped hyenas, golden jackals and many more. The park’s popular birds include vultures, crested serpent eagle, great horned owl and others.

The forest also harbours a variety of smaller animals and birds. Other predators are the Panther and the Hyena. The Indian Deer, Sambar, Chital (spotted deer), Nilgai (blue bull), Chinkara and the Chowsingha (four horned antelope) are found here, along with the bear and the long tailed langur. Another important attraction in the place is Kamleshwar Dam, which is situated in the centre of Sasan-Gir National Park. The Sasanagir national park commonly known as the Gir national park is the only abode left for the Asiatic lions and that’s what makes it a popular tourist spot. There are many hotel options in Sasan-Gir for tourists. This forest region of Gir was declared a ‘conservation area’ by the then Nawab of the ‘Princely State of Junagadh’ in early 1900 s itself. Gir. The best period to pay a visit to the Gir Forest National Park is mid October to mid June.

Day Wise Itinerary

Day 1: Pick Up From Ahmedabad Airport/Railway Station Drive To Rann Of Kutch

Pick up from Ahmedabad Airport/Railway Station Drive Little Rann Of Kutch. On arrival check in to the resort. Explore the desert by open jeep in the little Rann Of Kutch, where one can sight animals like wild-Ass, Desert Fox, Blue Bull, Blackbuck, Wolf, Jackal and few species of snakes & many species of birds also one can visit the home of Rabari and Banjara are the two important tribes of the region. Overnight stay at Little Rann Of Kutch.

Day 2: Hotel Check-out from Kutch Drive To Jamnagar and Local Sightseeing

After breakfast proceed to Jamnagar, historically known as Nawanagar. On arrival check in to the hotel, later proceed to visit Lakhota Lake & Lakhota Museum. In the evening, visit Bala Hanuman Temple, known for its not-stop Ramdhun since 1956 and it mentioned in Guinness Book of World Records. Evening is free for shopping. Overnight Stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Hotel Check-out From Jamnagar Drive To Dwarka And Dwarkadheesh Temple Visit

Get up early in the morning have your breakfast and check-out from the hotel & transfer to Dwarka. Dwarka is one of the foremost chardham for sacred Hindu pilgrimage sites, and is one of the Sapta Puri seven most ancient religious cities in the country. On arrival check in to the hotel. Later proceed to visit Dwarkadheesh Temple. Take a holy dip in Gomti river, later leave to visit Nageshwar Jyotirling-One of the 12 Jyotirlingam of Shiva, Gopi Talav, Bet Dwarka, and on the way back do visit Rukmani Temple, evening visit other temples on coastal area, attend evening aarti at Dwarkadheesh temple. Day 4: Check-out From Dwarka Hotel Drive To Porbandar And Somnath And Temple Visit

After morning breakfast further proceed to Porbandar at Porbandar visit Kirti Mandir- A place where Gandhi ji was born. Later proceed to Somnath. Somnath Temple- is the first among the twelve Jyotirlinga shrines of the God Shiva. On arrival check in to the hotel later proceeds to visit Bhalka Tirth & Somnath Temple. Day 5: Hotel Check-out From Somnath Drive To Diu And Visit Nagoa Beach With Local Sightseeing

Day 6: Hotel Check-out From Diu Drive To Sasan Gir And Visit To Gir Information Centre

Get up early morning have your breakfast and proceed to Sasan Gir . Sasan Gir is the home of the Asiatic Lion. In the afternoon visit Gir Interpretation Zone at Devaliya. Crocodile breeding farm, Gir information Centre. Watch movie on lion at Gir Information Centre in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7: Jeep Safari At Gir National Park Hotel Check-out From Sasan Gir And Proceed To Junagadh And Local Sightseeing

Today early morning take a jeep safari at the Gir Naitonal Park, come back to hotel have your breakfast and check-out the hotel. Then proceed to Junagadh. Visit Uperkot Fort, Ashok Rock Edict, Mahabat Makabara and Junagadh Museum. Today after breakfast proceed to Rajkot via Virpur & Gondal. At Virpir visit famous “Jalaram Temple”, Later proceed to Gondal. On arrival visit Navlakha Palace & Classic and Vintage Car Museum. Later proceed to Rajkot. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 9: Hotel Check-out From Rajkot Drive To Bhavnagar Visit To Famous Jain Temple At Shatrunjaya Hills

After breakfast today proceed to Bhavnagar, enroute visit temples city Palitana, famous Jain temples at Shatrunjaya Hills. Continue towards Bhavnagar. In the evening visit Takhteshwar Temple located on the small hillock. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 10: Hotel Check-out From Bhavnagar Drive To Ahemdabad Via Velavadar National Park And Lothal

This day after having breakfast at the hotel, check-out from the hotel and Drive to Ahmedabad via Velavadar & Lothal. After visiting Lothal and Velavadar National Park proceed towards Ahemedabad Airport/Railway Station. And your trip ends here with lots of sweet Gujrati memories.
